When I woke up it felt like someone was having a death-metal concert in my head. It was pounding over and over again...


how long had i been gone?

I noticed that my regular clothes that I had on was gone. I had a pair of white pants in some cotton fabric, and as a t-shirt I had an old straitjacket with alot of metalbuckles.

I was lying on a strange bed in some even stranger cell. It looked like it haven’t been used for 50 years or something like that...Next to me lied a pair of shoes, they seemed a size too big, but who am I to complain. I put them on and got out of the “bed”.



Who had taken me away, why?? And where am I??

I knew that I wouldn’t get any answers by sitting here so I got up and I felt on the door and to my surprise (and happiness) I noticed that it opened without any hassle, well except the noise the old hinges made when I opened the door, so now I have to find my way out of this place...

I was in a long corridor with many more cells like I had been lying in...what is this place? I was starting to get nervous here.



I tried to look out trough the window, but the dirt was so thick I couldn’t get it off...just to keep on going i guess...

It was a labyrinth down here. So many corridors...I had no idea where to go, and no one to ask...maybe it was a good thing that there wasn’t anyone to ask. I don’t want to bump into some more weird people.



I walked around for what seemed to me like hours. The only noise I heard was the water dripping on the puddles on the floor and my footsteps. There wasn’t almost any light down here so with the sound from the water and my steps and the bad light it was just like those bad horror movies when people are in these houses and monsters jumps out and eat them.

After a while I came to this staircase and I could get up from this “dungeon” cellar...but it wasn’t easy at all, the first steps had been broken down so I had to climb my way up...



When I finally came up I thought I was home free, that now it can´t be worser. But I couldn’t be more wrong...I was apparently in a huge abandoned "house", actually it looked more like a "factory" of some sort...

I started to look for the entrance to this place, and after I had been walking around a while I saw some footprints...well more actually I saw shoeprints.

So someone had actually been here! But how long ago was that?? And who was it that had been here, for all I know it could have been a homeless person looking for a shelter or it could have been a robber looking for a hideout...or maybe it was just someone that was into taking photos of abandoned places.

In one of the rooms I found a telephone, I picked it up and...no, no ring tone. Not very surprising, next to the phone was a photograph of a little boy in a toy airplane. I stood there just looking at the photo, wondering who the little kid was, who put it here and what happened to this kid and his family.



I got out of the room, continuing to follow the footprints and I came up to an even bigger room. In that room was a huge window. That usually wouldn’t catch my eyes, but the weird thing about it was that it wasn’t that dirty and someone had put up a note on it.



I couldn’t read all of the text on the note, either it was some language I couldn’t read or maybe it was the person’s handwriting that was too bad.

Below what looked like a message to someone, was what looked to me like a username and a password for a computer or something...but a computer in this place? And is there any power I wondered...

I started to look around and soon I found some computers hooked up on a simple made table. They weren’t the latest high-tech PC´s but it looked like they might work...



I took a wild chance and turned one of the computers on, and to my big surprise it started up without any problem, sure it was slow and all. But still, they work.

I came to a login screen and I had to enter a username and a password...but I didn’t have any username or a password...then it came to me! The note on the window!!

This was too weird...I have been taken away by some people. Somewhere unknown, they took my clothes off and replaced them with some other clothes. I had been walking around in this “building”/”factory” for hours (it felt like that for me). And now I found these old computers...

What is going on...?

I thought that it can’t be worse than it is now so I went to get the note when I heard a noise...it was the sound of voices...I think...it came from outside.

I turned against the window and looked outside but all I could see was...



This round house in a huge backyard...but no people out there...

Did I really hear voices...or was it just the wind that blew through the windows...

I stood there for a while and looked around, sometimes could see that the grass outside was moving and I thought that it was someone there, sneaking around. But then I came to realise that it must have been the wind...who would be out here?

I took the note and went to the computer again and entered what I presumed was the username and the password.

It worked and I got into the computer. There weren’t any files other than internet explorer and a modem dialling program...

“This is weird”, it thought, “how can there be a modem internet connection out here and the telephone isn’t working”...

I checked the cables and there was this ethernet cable connected to the computer and it disappeared into the wall.

I didn’t want to pull the cable, if the internet connection was working I didn’t want to ruin this chance of getting a message out...and hopefully get some help.

Maybe the phone was working after all...

So this is where I am now. I am still stuck in this house, I have no idea how long I’ve been here, but I’m going to start making my way out of here soon...I must.

and another monday again then...mmm, mooonday...taste it...moooonday...and as wonderful as mondays can be i went to work and i saw that i was gonna be late so i called in and reported my situation and my co-worker said that i was gonna start at 10.15 apparently...i thought i was gonna start out at 09.00 *sigh*

one good thing that i can think about monday is that C.S.I. Las Vegas is on TV tonight *yay*...something other?? hmm, not that i can think of...maybe Family Guy, but i want to see more of Stevie, he´s cool.

i was at a party this weekend. one of my co-workers had a "house warming" party...i have actually no idea if he just moved in there or not...

but it was really fun, i met some intresting people.

he and his friends listen to bands like Apoptygma Berzerk and other bands that i can´t pronounce...(Apoptygma Berzerk is a synth band if you didn´t know that).

i never (well almost) listened to synth music like Apoptygma B., so i thought i would be kinda out of place there...but i felt very welcome and i had as i said earlier a really good time, actually i had such a good time i came home around 04.30 in the morning (!!)

i met this guy who´s brother is Jay-Jay Johansson and i talked to a girl who´s brother is Jon Nödtveidt (frontman in Dissection), so that was cool.

i also smoked some water pipe for the first time...and no i didn´t like it that much.

for some reason i decided when i got home i should call my grrlfriend...she wasn´t to happy about that...hmm, i wonder why *S*

i can tell you that i won´t make the same mistake again *LoL*

i saw a couple of episodes of Paranoia Agent. it´s really good! now i can´t wait to get home and watch another episode.

too bad that there only are thirteen episodes out...

the Zelda gaming seems to taken a break. the problem is i lost a bit of intrest for continuing...but i´m gonna try to sit down and continue some day this week, i have made my mind up that i am gonna go through it all and i will...

i´m so tired today...i can almost fall asleep here at work...and i have to work until 18.15 tonight...*dubbel-sigh*

and i have a pain in my back, i think i slept in a strange position...

i had a strange dream this night again...but this time it wasn´t about vampires and stuff like that.

no this time it was a nice dream.

"me and the grrlfriend had hired a cabin out somewhere...this person that owned the cabins had some small cabins too, and these cabins where really special.

he had made two versions of it, one that could fit only one person and one that could fit two persons.

sounds wierd?? yeah, i know!

i made a picture of it so you could get an idea how it looked like (finally i get to show off my elajjt picture making skillz)


he had like five or six of these on the yard. and for some reason my girlfriend went to sleep and i decided for some very very wierd reason that i wanted to sleep in one of those houses instead of sleeping with my grrl.

i had no trouble standing in there, and it was two chairs and one little fridge and a small tv in there...

so i sat down in one of the chairs and fell asleep.

when i woke up later (in the dream that is) i was thristy so i looked in the frigde and to my surprise it was full.

and there was a bottle of some lemonade that i decided that i wanted.

when i had poured up some in a cup, i noticed that the whole "cabin" fell down and started sliding down the hill towards a beach with a small lake.

when it fell i actually didn´t think that much about it, i was thinking more that i didn´t want the lemonade all over me. (yeah i´m strange in my dreams i know).

so, the "house" was sliding down towards the water and i had no clothes on and i didn´t want the people to see me almost nude, so i was starting to think of an idea of how to manage to hide myself from them...

it didn´t go that well...i ended almost up in the water, and the people were staring at the house and i could sneak out.

i don´t think they thought that much of the half naked man inside..."

yesterday i finally found a nice webblog design, actually i found a couple of them. but some of them wouldn´t for some strange reason work i either Firefox or i Explorer...very wierd indeed.

and then after some more searching i found a even better design that i tried out on a difrent blog i have here on blogger.

i looked really good in both Firefox and Explorer, so then it was just to move it to this blog.

no problemo, just copy and paste the code and enter the buttons i wanted...and voilá! ...wtf.??!! this dosen´t seem right, it looks perfect in Firefox but in Explorer it´s fukked up...

if you wanna get yourself an idea i can try to explain it and maybe some coding wizard that is reading this blog can help me out.

the vaccuum in my ear is still there...but yesterday i got the tip of dropping some olive oil into the ear. and i tried that and it did actually work...until this morning...it came back...(!!!)

the Zelda gaming is going slow...why??

well, to be honest i dislike the camera in the game, i can´t really controll it that much and therefore i most often end up being hit by a enemy or fall down because i didn´t see the end of the edge...

. . . .

you know when you get on a flight and when the plane is starting to get up in the air you sometimes get like a "closing" in the ear (i don´t know the english word for it), the same thing can happen when you´re in the shower and you get water in the ear...

well, anywho. i have that now. i had that for the last 2-3 days. but today it´s even worser(!!). i get a little bit dizzy from time to time and when i speak i hear it "echoing" in my head.

very irritating.

i have a couple of things you can do like, to hold my nose and try to "sneeze"...but nothing has worked for me.

this is not that unsual for me, and it usually goes away in a couple of days, but still it´s very annoying.

and today i think i have to go home earlier from work because of this...

i have to buy a new processor fan for my PC too, the one i have now is starting to sound like an aeroplane...or jet enginge to be precise...

i had it since i got my PC a couple of years ago, so it´s time to change...i just hope it wont cause to much trouble...why would it??

I don´t know really, maybe because it has to do with the time limit you have in the game, the three days is kinda short when you are lost, and when you finally find your way you have to start all over from the first day again...

Loolili ve Perlili - Part III - Evil Eye

i had such a wierd dream this night...

i dreamt i was living with one of my co-workers, in a house on the countryside. kinda nice house, and a nice place too...

one really strange thing was that she was a vampire(!!), but not the regular vamipre crap. she could actually stand day light, withstand garlic...etc...

i didn´t wan´t to become a vampire and she respected me for that and didn´t try to bite me.

BUT all of a sudden there were these vampyric kids there. it was hers...i think...

and most of them (i think there were 4 or 5 kids) tried to be bite me all the time, to nibble on my body parts and to suck my blood...and i was so annoyed by them. no i was mad at them.

i had been sleeping when i woke up and noticed that one of those kids tried to bite me (again) and i pushed him away and he said he tried to set the house on fire in the night(!!!)

i became pretty angry with them, but my co-worker (the mom) wasn´t mad at all...

sorry to say i can´t tell more, since it´s to hard to put the dream into words...

a really strange thing about these kids is that i used to work at a school whit kids that was around 10-11 years old, and some of the kids in the dream was from the class i worked in(!!??).

wtf. am i dreaming?!?!

when i came to work i told my co-worker about this dream and she just laughed and found it pretty funny...but strange too...

yes it´s my birthday today...can you believe that i have been around for 28 years...damn...every year i am amazed that i have lived so long...NOT that didn´t thought i wouldn´t live this long, and i have no intention of dying...

but it´s just the thing that 28 years is kinda long time when you think about it.

through my life i have seen:

the Commodore 64 (C-64) come and (very sadly) go
the Amiga 500 come and go
the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) come and go
the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) come and (very sadly) go
the Playstation One (PSX) come and go

witch of the following systems i miss the most?? hmm, hard to tell...i had very good times with the Commodore 64 but i also had very good times with my SNES, so i guess i miss those times as much.

sometimes i like to take out my original C-64 (yes, i still have the one i got from my brother and i bought another one too) and play some games. some of my favorite games on the C-64 are:

The Last Ninja 1-3 (i still have the original box from Last Ninja Remix and Last Ninja 3 (witch in my eyes have really beatiful box art))
Rambo III
Delta (the music in this game is just so wonderful)
Into The Eagles Nest
Slapfight...etc...

when it comes to the SNES some of my favorites are:

Chrono Trigger (the music, the grapichs...man the whole game...)
Final Fantasy 6 (or if you count it the american way it would be number 3(the music, the grapichs...man the whole game...)
Super Metroid
Starfox
Flashback...etc...

anyway back to the thing i wrote about...sometimes it feels like i have seen so much and the last couple of years (if we count since the PSX came) it feels like the world isn´t going forward that much...

i mean, going from C-64 to NES to SNES and to the PSX was fantastic. the grapichs, the sounds, the games...

but today, going from the PSX to the Playstation 2 (PS2) wasn´t that special. ok, sure the grapichs and the sound is of course better but the feeling is pretty much the same.

it could be because i have grown up and got used to the grapichs and all that, but when you think of it going from the PSX system to the PS2 system isn´t that big of a change.

hmm...

well, i stick to the fact that is was better before...sure the loading times of the C-64 wasn´t that much fun, and the NES controller (the original) has some sharp ends that makes it not so nice to hold.

BUT those things have it´s charm...i love the NES controller, it´s so simple in it´s design and functionality, and the loading times of the C-64 has it´s charm too in a way...

and the TAC-2 joystick for the C-64 is THE BEST joystick ever if you ask me.

knock knock...

bought a new mp3 player this last weekend...my new baby is a Asono AB-600*.

the strange thing is that what i bought was the 600*, not the 600...

what is the difference then??

well, the 600* (with the star) dosen´t have a radio when the 600 (without the star) has the radio...

i´m suspecting that the radio is hidden in there somehow...i just need to find out if what i suspect is true and if it´s possible to enable it...

to explain it easier let´s take a example:

many mobile companys, for example Vodafone and 3 (three), cripple their mobile phones so they don´t have certain functions.

in some cases you can´t use mp3´s that you have in the in the phone as a ring tone, when with a non crippled phone you can.

so as i said earlier i´m guessing that the radio is hidden in there...but i have no idea how to figure it out. so if anyone out there knows anything aboot this i would be glad if you would share your knowledge.

in the early 90´s i heard a song, it had (kinda) sad lyrics and a sad sound to it, i could never remember the name of the band or the song title, but i remembered a couple of the lines of the lyric:

today in the shower the song hit me again, and i began to sing it (yes, i sing in the shower. i actually to a pretty good cover of Kyuss - "Green Machine", Kyuss - "Supa Scoop & Mighty Scoop"), anyway so i thought that "- hey! when i get outta the shower i´ll try to look it up in some Direct Connect hubb, i can always try to search on "Wonderful Life" (witch had hit me in the shower that i just might be the title of the song)..."

and so i did, i went into the DC hubb and searched for "Wonderful Life" and wam bam! i had a couple of too many hits...so i just took a chance and took a song by a band that was called "Black" that had a song that was namned "Wonderful Life".

i had it finished after like a minute or so and started it up in Winamp...and...

damn, i need a new mp3 player...my JoS (Jens Of Sweden) has starting to fuck up bad, really bad.

first the text on the screen went away and now the headphone input is fucking up.

and this morning the scroll wheel wouldn´t work for a little while...

(just so you ppl. know, my JoS has been around for over 4 years now and it has always been working good for me)

i have been looking for a new mp3 player, but i know that soon i have my birthday and i can always wish for money so i can buy a new one.

but still i listen to mp3 player pretty much everyday, to and from work. to and from town or wherever i am...so it´s gonna be hard waiting.

and if i know my family right i won´t get any money...they will more likely buy a mp3 player for me, witch i DON´T WANT THEM TO DO!

i am VERY picky about hifi things. i don´t want any crappy brand that has to be laid in for service every month or so.

Now this surely sounds like any job, but i had like 5 or 6 jobs since the last 4 or 5 years, and this is by far the most boring one, and the most repetive one.

Now you think "- Change job then!!"

Sure i could do that ... BUT! I want to travel down to meet my girlfriend in Israel, and i need to stay so i can fix the money and take the time off.

If i quit i won´t get any money (that´s if i won´t get a new job), and let´s say i do get a new job, i can´t take some time off to travel the first thing i do!

So i´m kinda trapped here ...

I´ve been thinking of changing appearance of this blog. Yes i know i have been talking about it before. BUT that was before i knew that i had to learn CSS.

As i feel now i don´t have the energy or time to learn CSS so i Googled a bit and found a site called Blogskins (the site seems to be down now, but try again later sometime).

They have readymade skins you can use for free that works with Blogger.

I have found a relly nice one that i´m currently trying out on under a another blog. The problem is that i wanna change the font type and i have gone through the source code but it seems not to work as i want.

...Hitchiker´s Guide... was actually really cool, i heard that ppl. had said that it´s boring and so on. And the critics in Sweden have given it a 3 on a scale 1 to 5 where 5 is the best.

i would rather give it a strong3...i have only seen the movie once so it might just change...

i have no idea what the critics said about and to frankly i don´t give a fuck about critics and their grades.

if a movie looks intresting to me i´ll watch it. the critics have been wrong so many times according to me, so therefore i don´t trust them!

we have seen some more movies too and here is quick list:

Mean Girls - unusual teen movie, not bad at all.
Constantine - kinda good, but not what i expected.
Sin City - this was so COOOOOL!! but my girlfriend didn´t like it...

the fridge broke down on monday, and damn me and the girlfriend was panicked! we had alot of food in the freezer and in the fridge.

early on tuesday morning i called the company that owns the apartments and about 1½ hour later we had a new fridge and freezer to borrow until they get the one that fits.

now that´s what i call good service.

monday again. and i am back from my vacation...didn´t feel at all to go to work today.

i was supposed to start out early today, at 07.45 and end at 15.45, but as always i fuck things up and forget what week it is and i come in at 10.15 (when i thought i was gonna start out)...

while i have been gone another person has quitted here, i had 83 unread mails (deleted 81 of them), and i really really don´t wanna be here.

sure i could always go out and search for a new job, but the thing is that i don´t know what i wanna work with.

my girlfriend thinks i should go back to school, but i know i won´t make it. and i don´t have a clue what to study.

i wrote earlier that i haven´t played any console or pc game lately...that dosen´t mean that i haven´t played any game at all...he he...

i don´t remember if i said this but i got myself a new mobile phone...

a Sony Ericsson K750i

i got some cool games for it, amongst the games i´ve got that´s worth of mentioning is:

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (adventure)
Alpha Wing (shoot em´ up)
Arkanoid (classic arkade game)
Asphalt Urban (driving)
Minigolf (self explanatory)
Super Real Tennis (sport...duh!)
XIII (action)

some of these games were made for the SE K700 or other SE phones, but so far most of them have worked really good on it...

i´ve got plenty more that i haven´t tried out yet...

i found Actraiser for the phone even(!!). yes the old Super Nintendo game!! but unfortunately they chipped away the building part of it...if you ask me, the best part of the game...

also the game sound stops every time you swing your sword. but other than that it looks really good!

before i went to the meeting on my job i saw during the day that the gray clouds came in and it was a bit colder, and we all (at my work) thought that this is the end of the warm weather we had here i Gothenburg.

today when i went to work around 07.20 it was about 18 degrees (celcius) outside...no, not that warm actually...

and around 10-11 the sun came back, and it did it with a vengeance...

damn, it´s hot hot hot today!! and it seemes it will continue...

yesterday when i called me grrlfriend i brought her the "bad" news aboot the weather and she didn´t mind, she said it would be nice to come away from the heat where she lives...

babe, i have some "bad" (nah, not really he he) news...the sun is back...

well here´s a snippet of what has happened:

my DVD burner broke down completely

i bought a new computer mouse (that improved my gaming ALOT, btw. it´s a Logitech MX518 and i can really recomend it)

i bought a new mobile phone (SonyEricsson k750i) - damn i´m addicted to that Arkanoid game i downloaded to my phone.

it´s june and the "summer" is supposed to be here now...but i can´t see it...it´s been kinda bad weather here i Gothenburg...

my mom went on a quick trip to the northen parts of Sweden and bought Surströmming (that´s a special fish that is popular in the northenparts), so soooon we´ll have a family gathering and eat (yummy!!).

i played a tournament on Swedish Meatballs...it wasn´t a regular tourny, it was just for fun.

the team i was in sG>> didn´t got that far, but we did our best and i´m happy. it was alot of fun! and we are gonna have the next tourny 26/6 i think it was...

i saw pink flamingos this weekend (in Slottsskogen in case you were wondering), i saw Kiwi birds too...cute! ^_^

i got an e-mail from my boss a couple of days ago (in swedish, but i´ll try to translate to english further down):

"Vi har alldeles för mycket köer, vi tappar alldeles för många samtal och vi måste öka antalet besvarade samtal per person omedelbart.

Det finns tusen anledningar till allting som teknikstrul sjukdom osv men det spelar fan ingen roll vi måste få bättre fart.

Samtalstiderna är ok men tiderna mellan varje samtal är det inte, om det är kö så går det inte att sitta med en request eller liknande saker, lägg eländet på hög och ta nästa samtal, köer på 3,4,5 minuter är inte ok.

Vi måste få upp effektiviteten nu, om annat blir lidande så får vi lösa det efterhand (tar gärna emot förslag), men från nu:

TA NÄSTA SAMTAL!!! Är det kö så skit i allt annat!!!"

in english:

"We have way to long queues, were losing to much calls and we have to rise the number of answered calls on each person.

There are a thousand reasons for anything like technique failure sickness
and so on, but that dosen´t fucking matter we have to raise the speed.

This is fucking crazy!!! WE ARE DOING OUR BEST HERE!! And the "old place" that is mentioned in the letter is where they had their call center earlier, and they had been working there for 14 FUCKING YEARS, and we have been working for 6 months!!

To add more to the fire:

They, on the "old place", got a proper education of 6 months BEFORE they started taking calls!

We, on the "new place", didin´t get a proper education at all! All we got was a training on a old booking system that wasn´t updated AT ALL since like 1998 or earlier!! We sat with that system for like 1 ½ month and then we started to take calls.

How the HELL CAN THEY EVEN THINK IN THAT WAY!! What the fuck!! Are they fucking morons!!!!

It´s like comparing night and day!

And taking "care of it" with good mood or something!! What the fuck is up with that?? Our customers won´t settle with good mood or something!!

This is so fucking stupid!! As you all can tell i´m pretty angry here. And with all right as i see it.

As i wrote earlier we NEVER got a proper education and we are compared to people that first of all got a education and then have been working with this for 14 years!!

i nowadays rarely find time to play CoD online (i´m too tired after work).

i missed out on the laundry day i had booked like 2 weekends ago so had to book a new one...

i saw the movie "The Jacket" a couple of days ago...strange movie, but not that bad, just a wierd ending...gotta see it again to grasp it.

summertime is creeping closer and closer...feels nice...

but what dosen´t feel that nice is that i haven´t met my friends in a while...miss going out and having fun. gotta call them more often.

"down in a hole"

today when i came to work i was feeling fine, Kent (a Swedish pop band) was gonna play live today and i was thinking of going there.

first call:

"-hi, i was wondering if it possible to deliver a car in great britain?"

"-witch day?"

"-this sunday, the 15:th"

"-well, that can be a bit of a hassle since we need to make the car reservation on request"

"-ok, and how long does that take before they answer it?"

"-up to three work days"

"-can´t you call them now?"

"-i can try, but i can´t promise anything"

....

and so i tried to call the station, no answer, and and while i was trying to reach them other people called and asked about deliverys and meet late arrivals at other impossible (well nearly) stations...

but after ALOT of work i finally got everything sorted (unusual)...

until that guy called me from Italy...*sigh*

i´m not gonna go through the whole thing but just so you´ll get the idea:

he had rented a car in Italy and then drove a couple of miles (10+ actually) to the place he wanted to go and stopped there cause the car had some really wierd noices from the clutch. he thought it would break down any minute.

so he wanted a new car and he wouldn´t go back to the station where he rented it cause he didn´t wanna drive there with that car (understandable) so he had asked the station manager if there was any station close by where he could get another car from.

there was one station, but they didn´t had that particular car size he had rented, BUT they had smaller cars that he could borrow and go back to the original station and there get the new car.

but nooo, that´s not good enough!! he wanted the car delivered to him (10+ miles!!!) NO FUCKING WAY is that possible for us! not in a such short notice.

we (the company i work for) said that he could take a taxi to the nearest station and take the car from there and we would stand for the cost of the taxi ride, BUT ONLY to the nearest station.

nope that´s not good enough either.


so i hassled, and worked, and called Italy and the Swedish HQ about how we where supposed to manage this situation...i wasted about 3 hours on him, and that´s NOT even MY JOB!!! i´m not supposed to do such things!!

my job is to make reservations, not be a freakin´ help service of somekind!!

i have no idea how it worked out for him cause i said to him that i had given him the choices we (the company) could offer him, and if that´s not good enough, well there´s not much i can do.

....

by this was over i was hungry and i was late for lunch, and i wasn´t in the mood for seeing Kent live anymore.

the day went on and 5 mins. before i was cloing down i got another customer that was a bit of a struggle to get trough...in the end i ended 20 mins. after i was supposed to...

*sigh*

....

yesterday i was gonna burn out some stuff i have on my harddrive. i made folders and everything and made it ready for burning.

put in a empty DVD disc and was gonna start burn when my burning program asked me to put in a empty DVD disc...i thought that the disc was empty so i just put in another one...nope didn´t work.

i tried with another burning program...no luck...

now apparently the burner had gone FUBAR completely.

so there goes a couple of hundred swedish krons for a new one...

....

and on top of this i haven´t been able to play any online CoD with me mates the Swedish Meatballs.

i haven´t got the time to play almost any game this week. have been to tired when i come home from work.

somedays i have even been to tired to fix dinner.

well, now i´m gonna watch some tv or play some CoD or whatever...

but a star twinkled above me and helped me out with the locked sim card (read this post)...

what the h*ll, do you mean you´re thinking now...

as i wrote in the old post i was sure i had the old papers with the codes in my storage room...that was my twinkling star...

i cleaned the house today and then went to search in my basement for the papers.

i dived in my boxes and starting to look, i had a pretty good idea where i had put it so i kinda knew where to look.

and there in it´s all glory it was, the 10+ old papers(!!!)

i rushed back to my apartment and turned on the cell phone and punched in the original PUK code and made a new sim code....

and it WORKED!!!! YEEESSS!! now i finally have access to my old sms messages again, quickly i took away the pink card check for that sim card if i wanted to go back in there.

....

so how is it with the grrlfriend??

she´s fine, she is still a bit sick, but she went to the doctor and he wanted to take a blood sample to really find out what it is.

but he didn´t think it was something dangerous.

damn, why have life turned this way for???

it started with my girlfriend going to Sinai desert and got sick. she still dosen´t know what´s wrong, but she´s going to a doctor today.

then my life hit the shitty fan...

my cell phone won´t let me send messages to her, it used to work perfectly but now all of a sudden it has fucked up.

i called up the company i have my subscription with and they sent me a new sim card to see if that was the problem.

it wasn´t...

2 days ago i sat down to change sim card, and transfer the phonebook and old messages from the old sim card to the new one.

the phonebook went smoothly, but when i changed sim card again to start transferring the messages i forgot what sim card i had in the phone and punched in the wrong PIN code 3 times, and then the sim card (old one) was locked...

i went to one of the company stores this company has and asked them if they could help me...and here is one mystery..

she punched in the PUK code (a long code that lockes up if the sim code has been locked), and the phone asked me to punch in a new code, so i did.

but when i pressed in the code the second time it just said "Wrong code"(!!!)

they had no idea how that would be like that...

i asked them if maybe they have the old PUK code for the old sim card somewhere in their systems. they didn´t...

i´m pretty sure i still have the old papers with the PUK code somewhere in my basement, but i don´t know where(!!!)

so this weekend i´m going to dedicate to cleaning and looking for those damn papers.

for these last couple of weeks (like 2 or 3 weeks now) i have been eating alot of pasta for lunch and for dinner.

and now i have a lump in my throat that irritates me, it feels like i haven´t been able to swallow something right down. and for some days ago i felt a pain in my chest.

i think it´s because of that i have been eating too much pasta lately...??

the problem was just that i had no idea what to make for dinner or for lunch.

some days i end work late and don´t feel like going shopping for food, even though i sometimes must.

at the store i don´t know what to buy and so i just think that pasta and some meatballs or something else will do fine...

when i come home i am usually very tired and i don´t feel like starting to make dinner or lunch.

so i just take some pasta and fry something to that...

but from today i´m gonna try to eat more diffrent...

i bought a salad today, nope it´s not pasta salad , it´s greek salad...

feeling a bit depressed. why??

well it started this weekend when my girlfriend went to the doctor to find out why she was feeling so weak and had bruises...

the doctor said it might be a parasite in her that came from the visit in the Sinai desert.

on saturday (or was it sunday??) she called me and she was really weak, and she said she was going to sleep and i was really worried about her. i didn´t want her to sleep alone. but she didn´t have a choice.

i was became worried and depressed on sunday night, i felt that i couldn´t go to work at all.

on monday morning i felt a bit better, but still decided to stay at home. i wanted to be able to call my girlfriend and hear her voice to hear that she´s ok.

she called me up on monday afternoon and she was feeling alot better, but i was still depressed because i also had some bad dreams.

monday night the bad dreams came back...

the dream isn´t like the regular nightmare, it´s more like...i don´t know how to explain so i´ll just explain my dream.

but before i do that i have to give a bit of background to you readers.

before i started this work i´m at now i was working in a kiosk, you know a little store that sells beverages, magazines, candy, buss tickets...and so on. this kiosk company has alot of stores here in Sweden.

i had been in that company for almost 3 years and i liked my job. i had been working in many diffrent stores around Gothenburg.

and one day the cheifs decided to make the companies into franchises.

so i had to move around from store to store, it became harder and harder for me to find work. many of my old co-workers quitted for other jobs, but after some time i found a store that wasn´t on franchise, and it was undecided when it was supposed to go out on the franchise thing.

i had such luck there since some of my old co-workers was working there, and i was starting to enjoy the place.

and one day comes this bitch (and i really do mean bitch) and saying that she is gonna take over the store.

i have heard some rumors about her, but i decided not to listen to them (witch i would regret later) and signed a contract with her.

almost directly after she took over the problems started, she changed the routines without saying anything to us workers(!!)

she started to complain about me, how i did this wrong and how i did that wrong...when i all i tried to do was to make things right as i have learned over the years.

and one day after about 1 or 2 months she called me into her office and she accused me of stealing(!!!!!) and fired me.

i don´t have to say that i was of course innocent, but she said she had evidence.

and if i would talk to the union she would drag me into court.

she said that if i didn´t say anything she wouldn´t say anything to anyone.

after a mess of papers (with the union to get un-employment funding) and with the un-employment office i finally got free from her.

2 weeks after this incident a old co-worker called me up and asked me what the hell was going on. she had talked to her boss and that person had been in a meeting with other franchise owners and amongst other the bitch was there and she told the other bosses what happened(!!!)

....

i still feel very bad about what happened, and i really really hope that all the store she has will burn in hell!!

yes i do mean hell! i HATE her, i din´t think there is anyone else on this planet i hate as much as her...well my aunt i hate too...

i have been planning on getting back on her, but i have no idea (yet)...

everyday when i go to work i see that god damned store and i´m reminded of the time...

....

anyway, back to the dream.

i dreamt that i was back in the store working, worrying when she would come and complain that i did everything wrong according to her.

i know i shouldn´t let this get to me, but sometimes it does, and it wakes up bad memories.

i had been working there for over 3 years!

"why didn´t you go to the court with this then??" you might wonder. it decided not to cause i just wanted to lay it all behind me.

move on.

the time when i tried to get the papers straight (to get un-employment funding) i had to go to her to get some papers signed by her, and that made me feel really bad.

so i thought that i wouldn´t have the energy to go through it in court.

yes, i do sometimes regret i never did, but i try to let it go. it´s in the past now.

but amongst this sad story is a happy story(!!)

i found a cool Call of Duty modification. it´s called German Front Mod.

it contains new maps, new sounds to the weapons, modifications to the weapons and so on...

it is awesome! i´ve been playing it for 3 days now. sure it has some bugs in it, but still it is very playable!

i really recommend it to you all CoD fans! OBS!! you need the United Offensive expansion pack to play this mod.

i went online to play a bit of Battle For Europe (CoD) today. but i got so sick of a stupid moron that was on my team that complained all the time of how i was playing so left after like 1 hour or less.

he was like "- keep your head down!! oooh...*deep sigh* (like "you are a stupid moron sigh")

wtf. is up with that?? we had to get rid of our enemies so i went forward, and threw a couple of grenades and hoping to get one or 2 of them, and that guy is complaining all the time!!

stupid idiot, who the f*ck does he think he is??

anyway so i got sick of that and i don´t know if i´ll play again, just because of that moron!

i could change side, currently i´m on the "Allied" side, and there is a "Axis" side too.

i´m baack!

what can i say, i´m sorry that i haven´t updated the blog for a *cough cough*...couple of days...

i have been very busy with work since our phone system went crazy and connected way too many people, and it went down.

at home i have been busy signing up for Battle For Europe ( Battle for Europe/Call of duty ) and training with the mates from The Swedish Meatballs ( Swedish Meatballs CoD clan ).

but like 3 days ago something happened...my TS (teamspeak, the system i use to communicate with the mates at Meatballs during CoD games) went crazy and couldn´t connect me, and for the last 2 days i haven´t been able to connect to the Swedish Meatballs Server.

in other words, i haven´t been able to play CoD online since like 2 days ago(!!!)...*sigh*...

i have no idea what is wrong with the TS and CoD.

maybe it´s just the server the games are on is offline when i try to connect or maybe it´s just my usual luck...

....

what else has happened?

well, i got 2 lottery tickets from my mom for easter present...i wont 50 SEK (Swedish Krona)!! yay!! i usually never win anything at those damn lottery tickets!

what else...hmm, well the spring is here i Gothenburg. some days it´s nice and warm (like +15 Celsius or more). so that´s really nice.

i misscalculated my bills this month so i don´t have that much money to live off as i thought i would have.

the P-Floyd concert is coming closer every day(!!)...in case i haven´t mentioned it, P-Floyd is a swedish Pink Floyd cover band that are really good!

they will set up The Wallin Stockholm in may...i´m going there to see it in the first weekend of may (7:th of may).

i talked to a friend that has seen this show and he said that i won´t be disappointed. *excited*

i know, i know, i know i haven´t posted anything for a loong time here.

i´m sorry for that.

why? you ask?

i just had to much to do this week.

on monday the system went all crazy (or should i say the people in Sweden) cause it seemed as everybody was intrested in renting a car.

we had all of a sudden huge queue´s (people where waiting for almost 20 minutes sometimes). we (me and my co-workers) where used to more like 5 mins. queue or 10 mins. at the top.

and of top of all alot of people where sick or just not there for other reasons.

and because i had alot of people to take care of and late meetings i never got myself to write a new entry here, i thought of it often, but i never found the time or the energy.

at wednesday we had a meeting, i ended at 16.00 and the meeting started at 18.00...*sigh* 2 hours of nothing to do...

today (friday) we had another meeting (again), and i ended 16.00 today aswell, and there where also 2 hours of nothing to do.

the meeting at wednesday was kinda boring, it was all figures of how much we had sold and looking at previous years.

but the meeting today was more intresting since we had a guy coming all the way from the USA to us.

he told us of what they offer to their customers in the USA and so on.

we had some "competitions" too...and i won a red fleece jacket with my company logo on it (i rarely win so yay for me!)

then we went out to eat at Hard Rock Cafe here in Gothenburg.

i haven´t been before, so i didn´t know what to expect.

it looked kinda cool, kinda how i would imagine a Hard Rock Cafe would look like.

we got the food we had ordered (i had ordered baby back spare ribs with french fries), it looked really good, and it tasted good too...in the beginning.

after like 6 or 7 ribs the taste was starting to feel kinda yucky. i discovered it wasn´t that good at all.

my co-workers who had ordered chicken with mashed potatoes was really disappointed too, apparently it didn´t taste anything.

we had ordered dessert too, i had ordered some kind of ice cream sundae.

i looked good...until i tasted the "ice cream" and the whipped "cream".

the "ice cream" didn´t taste very good at all, it tasted cheap, very very cheap

and so did the whipped "cream" too.

my friends had ordered brownie with "alot of ice cream"...

apparently "alot" to the people at Hard Rock Cafe have a strange defining on what "alot" means.

all the ice cream they got was a small litte ball(!!!), and a brownie that tasted like regular chocolate cookie that you can buy in a regular store.

adding to all this the food for expensive, how expensive it was i don´t know since my company payed for it all (luckily).

so all in all:

Hard Rock Café in Gothenburg, Sweden gets a rating:

1+ (maybe a weak 2) (where 1 is the worst and 5 is the best).

the food was really really bad, and the volume was too high. you come there too eat good and want to have a nice time.

not to eat crappy cheap made food and have to (almost) scream to be heard when you are talking to your friends.

i don´t remember if i wrote about my grapichs card problem, that i couldn´t get any colour when i connected my PC to my TV.

anyway, i couldn´t. i tried with new drivers and all, but nothing worked so i talked to the store and they saied that i needed a S-VHS to Composite converter since my tv can´t understand that signal

i bought a cable today and tried it...and voilá! i now have colour! yay!

finally i can see all the movies i have on my PC!

it almost 02.30 and i need to go to bed and sleep some.

yesterday i saw that the new Kent album "Du & Jag Döden" leaked out to the internet.

is due to be released on tuesday, in a limited edition (9000 ex.) and of course the regular edition.

there will be a limited edition on vinyl too (only 1500 copies).

"who´s Kent?" you might say.

well Kent is a swedish pop band that is very, very popular in sweden, and for a good reason too, they are great.

they have made 6 albums (and 2 of them are available in english too).

their best song so far, according to me is 747, available on the album "Isola". i prefer the swedish version, but you can get that album in english too.

anyway, they are gonna release their next album on this tuesday, the 15:th of march.

i´m thinking of buying the limited edition version.

i talked to a service man at the store where i bought the Zalman graphics card cooler and he suspecs that the card has broken down...

i looked around for a new card, and asked in the CoD clan i have joined about a card...and they found one for around 1900:- skr (swedish krona)...

there seems to be no way out of this so i lucky me i had some money saved...

but still it feel so unnecessary...well i always learned the hard way.

as i wrote yesterday my winterjacket broke down (it was the zipper that was the guilty one), so i had to buy a new one.

luckily i ended early at work yesterday so i could go into town and do a bit shopping without being home so late.

i headed for the nearest sports store (since i know that they still have sale on the winterjackets), in the first store i found way to expensive, and way to thin jackets.

so onto the next one...

and there it was in all it´s green glory!

a McKinley...

i was my size (for once), and it looked good on me too (what a lucky day!), it was thick and nice.

the price...well...900:- skr (swedish krona).

that might sound expensive, but look at it this way, it was half price(!!), so i used to cost 1800:- skr(!!).

so i think it was kinda cheap...well kinda...

i asked the cashier girl to put it away for later, so i could check if there was any other jacket i could find...

i looked in 2 or 3 more stores, but no jacket i tried was as good as the McKinley...

i even found a jacket for 497:- skr and i hade store credit for 200:- skr, so i would only pay 297:- skr for it, but i didn´t felt like the McKinley.

in the end i bought the McKinley jacket, i couldn´t resist the power of it ;-P

we were talking and all of a sudden i remembered that it was a special match night last night on the clan server.

i asked her if it was ok, and she said yes.

in case you were wondering what was so special about last nights CoD game was that it was a so called "Mary Poppins" night.

the gravity in the game was almost zero, and that means that you can "fly" in the game.

the rules are:

[-X-] you aren´t allowed to kill from the ground, you had to get "airborne".
[-X-] you aren´t allowed to shoot people that aren´t airborne, but you are allowed to kill people on the ground with grenades.

it sounds wierd without the gravity, and i can tell you that it was a bit hard in the beginning to get airborne and not getting stuck in houses and such.

but it was really fun! i can really recomend it to you people who are playing around the world.

yippie kay yay!

as i wrote yesterday aboot my graphics card, the fan on it was broken and i had to find a way to fix it.

i went to a computer store where i usually buy my PC stuff and bought the Zalman ZM80-HP thingy (see previous blog about link to it).

i came home and begun to replace the fan...

what i didn´t know was that i needed acetone or alchohol to remove the cooling pasta (or what´s it called)...did i have any acetone or alchohol at home?? nope, well i have alcohol but not the kind i can use for that purpose ;-P

anyway, i went out to get some, and after a while i found it at my usual grocery store.

came home and started with mounting the pieces and all that.

Zalman are gonna have a big applause for their good manual on how to mount this thing. it was really good!

but one thing was really bad...the cooling pasta tubes where to small and it seemed that 50% of the tube contained air.

finally after like 2 hours of mounting i was finished with it all.

i put it in and booted up the PC and tried to play a movie & play some games, and it all worked fine.

now i feel ready to onto more difficult thingys :-D

otherwise not much has happened...except that my winter jacket broke down so i have to buy a new one...*sigh*

and i got to know that my girrlfriend will be coming here in a couple of months (yaaah hoooh!!).

damit!! my luck seems very far right now...

i was at my brother this weekend (that´s why i haven´t written anything lately), and i came home yesterday (sunday) and i was as usual.

my cat was hungry, the apartment was a mess...

so i gave the cat some food and cleaned up a bit of the mess and turned on the PC.

i started up some downloads and was heading for the shower...

but before i went in there i wanted to take a last look at my programs to see if it started to download or not, and i couldn´t get the screen to work at all(!!!).

i unplugged the screen from the PC and put it back in again, but nothing worked.

i tried a couple of other things but nothing worked at all, so the only thing left to do was to reboot the PC.

the PC booted up again and i got my program to work after a little while and could head for the shower...

....

i saw that "Panic Room" was to be aired on the telly. i haven´t seen it before and i felt that i didn´t wanna sit infront of the PC the whole night.

...i loaded up with beverage, chips & candy...and the movie started, and by the first commercial break (after about 15-20 mins.) i was bored so i thought that i could watch a movie i had on my harddrive instead.

i fixed up everything and started the movie...and that´s where everything started to go really really bad...

(i have hooked up my PC to my TV so i can stream movies from my PC on my TV, it´s really good to have like that, and it works really good for me.)

anyway, the picture was really really bad, it was messed up (i had checked the quality of the movie earlier so i knew it was good).

i was kinda irritaded since my PC had been messing with me earlier this day, and i didn´t feel like "fighting" with the PC, i just wanted to sit down and watch a movie.

i opened the PC casing and took a look at the grapichs card and noticed that the fan didn´t spin at all(!!)

i took out the card and decided that i´m gonna go to a store and see what they can do.

i have seen a grapichs card cooler made by Zalman (ZM80-HP) that seems kinda intresting...

i´ll see what happens...i just hope it won´t be too expensive...

last night i was working on the webblog. i was trying to put up a counter some other things.

the counter had been there since the start but the other thing (some kind of traffic upgrade thingy) i just found, but apparently i just didn´t want to work correctly.

if i put in the counter the traffic thingy just didn´t want to stay there. if finally figured it out how to get both of them there and updated the webblog...

...and something strange happened...

i use to 99.99% the Firefox webbrowser nowadays. i think it´s much much better than the Explorer. only thing i have problems with is Quicktime, but i very rarely use it so i don´t care that much.

anyway, when i had updated my webblog and checked it out it looked very very strange to me. the background was now "split up", it was black "stripes"(!!).

something was very wrong...maybe it was the javascript code...so i tried to take it away and updated the webblog again. it looked fine in the preview and so updated again and hoped it would work out.

it didn´t(!!)...what to do, what to do...

i tried several time of cutting away the javascript and updating again, but no, i didn´t work at all.

and i got tired of all the crap and thought that i can always paste in the template again. a little window appeared that said something like "all your changes will be lost...".

i thought that it was just the changes i made, like if i wanted people to be able to post comments and e-mail my blogs to other people.

i pressed the ok button and...

...apparently i was very very wrong.

all i had written in my blog so far was gone(!!!)

the time was around 23.30 (i think) and i was tired, i had to get up at 06.00 next morning so felt i didn´t have time to fix it.

i checked around the settings and found out after a while that my old blog was still there.

Blogger.Com had made a backup of my old blog (*puh*)...lucky me.

now i finally could go to sleep.

....

next morning the alarm rang at 06.00, but i didn´t manage to get up before 06.30.

while i was eating i checked the temperature outside and froze still...

the meeter said:

-13.8 Celsius(!!!)

i´ve been living in Gothenburg for over 5 years and this is by far the coldest i´ve seen!

really tired i managed to get some breakfast and left the house at 07.30 (yeah, it was a bit late).

when i got to the tram station i found out that there was a stop because a tram had some problems (not a big surprise though). so i thought that i had to wait for like 5-10 mins. or so...

yeah riiight...i waited for surely 15 freezing mins. before a tram came...and that one was filled with people so i couldn´t get in.

and i waited for about 10 more mins. before the next tram came, i crammed my way in there and was finally on my way to my work.

and all of a sudden it´s Wednesday (!!), woke up this morning and was thinking what day it was...was it Tuesday or Wednesday...??

i slowly came to mind it was Wednesday..."damn" i thought, "these two days has gone fast!".

even though yesterday (Tuesday) was a bad day at work, only idiots called and bitched about all sort of things it went by fast (luckily).

one example:

often travel agencys call us to reservate cars for other people, or companies, like American Express, call us to book cars for "fine" people with platinum cards...

anyway onto the example, this call a co-worker got yesterday.

this woman calls from a company and wants to reservate a car for a guy. she says that they have made a deal with our company and in their deal they are gonna have a certain type of car.

no problem som far.

but my co-worker sees that the car isn´t available at that time. then the woman on the aother side gets mad and says that "We have a agreement with you to have that car, what do you mean you don´t have it!!)".

and my co-worker tries to explain over and over again (but some people are just do stupid to understand).

all of a sudden she woman gets silent and my co-worker hears a dialing tone(!!!).

and a guy answers the phone (she had put a call through to the guy that was gonna have the car without saying anything to my co-worker!!!).

my co-worker understands that the guy in the phone is the person that is the one that´s gonna have the car and explains the situation to him.

he understands what she means (he´s not that stupid...)...but...

he later says that can´t you enter this car group and write on the booking that i want this type of car (the car that is on the agreement).

note: we CAN´T DO THAT, so stupid question!! you can´t book like a Chevrolet Classic and demand that we write that you want a Buick Le Sabre. the cars are in two different groups!

and my co-worker says so to this guy, and now all of a sudden he gets mad at her, and telling her that she can´t do her job right (!!!).

i don´t remember how it all ended but the moral of the story is:

how stupid can you be?? apparently very stupid!

just because you, or your company makes an agreement with us dosen´t mean that we have the specified car available 24/7 for you!!

yesterday i met the admin from Swedish Meatballs, in town. i wrote earlier about that i was gonna get both Call Of Duty and the expansion pack United Offensive for some cheap pix.

i came home and after some problems after installation i got online to the Swedish Meatballs server...

we sat online and talked with each other at the same time we where speaking, it was really cool!

we use a program called Teamspeak. it works like that you set up a channel (don´t ask me how, haven´t looked into it), and maybe a password if you want.

then you ask your mates that you want to talk to to download this program and give them the ip adress to the channel and the password if you have that.

you need a microphone to use this program, it´s better if it´s a headset with a mic. that has a "voice activation" in it, but it´s not neccecary since you can fiddle with the sound so ot will be more or less sensitive when you talk.

anyway, so there we sat and chatted and gamed the night away, and i had plans to see a movie.

but it was fun, and i´m looking forward to talk and game with them again.

a person close to me asked me a couple of days ago that i would take this webblog into a more personal direction. but i´m not sure where i want to take this webblog to, if i wanna get really personal or not...

got a mail from a swedish rock band called P-Floyd, they play covers by Pink Floyd. got to see them a couple of years ago when i went to Stockholm to see Roger Waters live in Globen and i can tell you that P-Floyd are amazing.

anyway, they are gonna put up The Wall in Stockholm in may and i got a offer to buy tickets cheaper than other people that aren´t on their mailing list.

need to check with hotels and stuff, cause this is a offer i really don´t wanna miss out on.

i´ll return when i have checked into this...
