6.5.1

New movies I've seen:

Brutti sporchi e cattivi (Down and Dirty Ugly, Dirty and Bad)

I thought this one of the movies i was I was looking for, but it turned out it wasn't. Lucky for me since this was a very good movie! Highly recomended!

Be Kind Rewind

I had some high hopes here, but this wasn't all that good actually. I was thinking to turn it off after ca. 20-30 mins. but gave it a second chance and it got a bit better.

Concerts I've been to:

At Metaltown 2008:

- Satyricon: 3.9 of 5

Great concert, Satyr and Co. were good as usual.

But I don't really like his new song "My skin is cold".

- Tiamat: 3.5 of 5

It was fun to finally see these guys live! And it was good, too bad I had to leave to see another concert.

- Dimmu Borgir: 3.9 of 5

This time they were better than last time which ironically were a tour concert.

- In Flames: 3.8 of 5

Not a big fan of In Flames, but they have one hell of a show! Fireworks, big screens and stuff...cool!

- Nightwish: -5 of 5

I knew they were bad, but this bad...jehsus! The new singer is...I can't find the words...just STAY AWAY from this crap!

- Monster Magnet: 3 of 5

Aaah, Monster Magnet! Finally I got to see Dave Wyndorf and the boys live. He (Dave) felt a bit tired but it was good, too bad they didn't play "Dinosaur Vacume".

- Amon Amarth: 3.9 of 5

I saw this band the same night I saw Dimmu Borgir, and they were very good. This time they showed it wasn't a one time happening.

- Finntroll: 3.8 of 5

I had only read about these guys once or twice I think, and never heard any songs they made, so I had no idea how they sound like. And holy finnish folk metal! This was good! Very good too.

Iron Maiden (live at Ullevi, Gothenburg): 4 of 5

This was my first time seeing Eddie and the guys. I feel so stupid for never seeing them before, since they apparently kicks ass live!

The next time they come to Sweden I don't care if they play in Stockholm, Kiruna, Gothenburg or somewhere else, I'm gonna have a ticket!

New games I've been playing:

GTA IV (PS3): 3.8 of 5

Yes GTA IV is fun, yes it huge, yes it looks good and yes you can do a lot of stuff. But I feel that somethings missing. I don't know what it is, but it lacks something to keep my interest up.

Maybe it is because it feels like you're doing the same thing over and over again...hmm, I don't know really.

Motorstorm (PS3): 3 of 5

It's fun but very repetitive. Same thing over and over again, go around the track and you must end 3:rd as worst otherwise you have to race again.

For each race you can choose from 2-3 vechicles, but it dosen't feel like it matters that much which one you choose. Would have been better if it were a bigger difference between the vehicles.

Skate (PS3): 3 of 5

A very fun game, but I HATE the camera. Sometimes it's almost impossible to finish off a trick because of it, or to start a trick for that matter. I hope they adjust it to the next game (yeah, it's coming in case you didn't know).

And the difficulty rises too fast, all of a sudden you're infront of a very hard challenge and you got no other challenge to try.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the... (PS3): 3.5 of 5

Very nice graphics and the gameplay is awesome, but there are too much action and too little stealth. And the MGS games are about stealth, going around the enemy, hiding and then sneaking past them.

But in this game it's more like you to try to sneak past the enemies, they see you and a big shoot out starts.

Sure it was a couple of years I played a MGS game and I need to train on stealth capabilities but still it feels like MGS 4 is way too much action based.
