It´s just because i´m afraid that i´ll loose all i have written here and that i have not much of a idea of how i want it to look like.
But the easter is coming up so i´ll have some days off and i´ll hope i can get my ass off and start to look into some nice design.

"big in japan"
i know, i know, i know i haven´t posted anything for a loong time here.
i´m sorry for that.
why? you ask?
i just had to much to do this week.
on monday the system went all crazy (or should i say the people in Sweden) cause it seemed as everybody was intrested in renting a car.
we had all of a sudden huge queue´s (people where waiting for almost 20 minutes sometimes). we (me and my co-workers) where used to more like 5 mins. queue or 10 mins. at the top.
and of top of all alot of people where sick or just not there for other reasons.
and because i had alot of people to take care of and late meetings i never got myself to write a new entry here, i thought of it often, but i never found the time or the energy.
at wednesday we had a meeting, i ended at 16.00 and the meeting started at 18.00...*sigh* 2 hours of nothing to do...
today (friday) we had another meeting (again), and i ended 16.00 today aswell, and there where also 2 hours of nothing to do.
the meeting at wednesday was kinda boring, it was all figures of how much we had sold and looking at previous years.
but the meeting today was more intresting since we had a guy coming all the way from the USA to us.
he told us of what they offer to their customers in the USA and so on.
we had some "competitions" too...and i won a red fleece jacket with my company logo on it (i rarely win so yay for me!)
then we went out to eat at Hard Rock Cafe here in Gothenburg.
i haven´t been before, so i didn´t know what to expect.
it looked kinda cool, kinda how i would imagine a Hard Rock Cafe would look like.
we got the food we had ordered (i had ordered baby back spare ribs with french fries), it looked really good, and it tasted good too...in the beginning.
after like 6 or 7 ribs the taste was starting to feel kinda yucky. i discovered it wasn´t that good at all.
my co-workers who had ordered chicken with mashed potatoes was really disappointed too, apparently it didn´t taste anything.
we had ordered dessert too, i had ordered some kind of ice cream sundae.
i looked good...until i tasted the "ice cream" and the whipped "cream".
the "ice cream" didn´t taste very good at all, it tasted cheap, very very cheap
and so did the whipped "cream" too.
my friends had ordered brownie with "alot of ice cream"...
apparently "alot" to the people at Hard Rock Cafe have a strange defining on what "alot" means.
all the ice cream they got was a small litte ball(!!!), and a brownie that tasted like regular chocolate cookie that you can buy in a regular store.
adding to all this the food for expensive, how expensive it was i don´t know since my company payed for it all (luckily).
so all in all:
Hard Rock Café in Gothenburg, Sweden gets a rating:
1+ (maybe a weak 2) (where 1 is the worst and 5 is the best).
the food was really really bad, and the volume was too high. you come there too eat good and want to have a nice time.
not to eat crappy cheap made food and have to (almost) scream to be heard when you are talking to your friends.

i don´t remember if i wrote about my grapichs card problem, that i couldn´t get any colour when i connected my PC to my TV.
anyway, i couldn´t. i tried with new drivers and all, but nothing worked so i talked to the store and they saied that i needed a S-VHS to Composite converter since my tv can´t understand that signal
i bought a cable today and tried it...and voilá! i now have colour! yay!
finally i can see all the movies i have on my PC!
....
it almost 02.30 and i need to go to bed and sleep some.

my home PC is back and running again! yaay!!
the solution?? i bought a new grapichs card.
it´s a Leadtek Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT 128 Mb.

what else has been happening...well not much...
i have now installed the kick ass game Half Life 2 on my PC and as i said it kicks ass!
if you played it you know what i mean.
if you only played the first game (witch is one of the best games for the PC) you defenitly should look up Half Life 2 now!

yesterday i saw that the new Kent album "Du & Jag Döden" leaked out to the internet.
is due to be released on tuesday, in a limited edition (9000 ex.) and of course the regular edition.
there will be a limited edition on vinyl too (only 1500 copies).
"who´s Kent?" you might say.
well Kent is a swedish pop band that is very, very popular in sweden, and for a good reason too, they are great.
they have made 6 albums (and 2 of them are available in english too).
their best song so far, according to me is 747, available on the album "Isola". i prefer the swedish version, but you can get that album in english too.
anyway, they are gonna release their next album on this tuesday, the 15:th of march.
i´m thinking of buying the limited edition version.

damn, damn, damn & damn again!!
i have destroyed my grapichs card...it seems like that anyway.
i talked to a service man at the store where i bought the Zalman graphics card cooler and he suspecs that the card has broken down...
i looked around for a new card, and asked in the CoD clan i have joined about a card...and they found one for around 1900:- skr (swedish krona)...
there seems to be no way out of this so i lucky me i had some money saved...
but still it feel so unnecessary...well i always learned the hard way.

"Gorgar will eat you..."
as i wrote yesterday my winterjacket broke down (it was the zipper that was the guilty one), so i had to buy a new one.
luckily i ended early at work yesterday so i could go into town and do a bit shopping without being home so late.
i headed for the nearest sports store (since i know that they still have sale on the winterjackets), in the first store i found way to expensive, and way to thin jackets.
so onto the next one...
and there it was in all it´s green glory!
a McKinley...
i was my size (for once), and it looked good on me too (what a lucky day!), it was thick and nice.
the price...well...900:- skr (swedish krona).
that might sound expensive, but look at it this way, it was half price(!!), so i used to cost 1800:- skr(!!).
so i think it was kinda cheap...well kinda...
i asked the cashier girl to put it away for later, so i could check if there was any other jacket i could find...
i looked in 2 or 3 more stores, but no jacket i tried was as good as the McKinley...
i even found a jacket for 497:- skr and i hade store credit for 200:- skr, so i would only pay 297:- skr for it, but i didn´t felt like the McKinley.
in the end i bought the McKinley jacket, i couldn´t resist the power of it ;-P

i want to give a biiig hug and huuge kiss to my girlfriend for letting me play CoD yesterday.
we were talking and all of a sudden i remembered that it was a special match night last night on the clan server.
i asked her if it was ok, and she said yes.

in case you were wondering what was so special about last nights CoD game was that it was a so called "Mary Poppins" night.
the gravity in the game was almost zero, and that means that you can "fly" in the game.
the rules are:
[-X-] you aren´t allowed to kill from the ground, you had to get "airborne".
[-X-] you aren´t allowed to shoot people that aren´t airborne, but you are allowed to kill people on the ground with grenades.
it sounds wierd without the gravity, and i can tell you that it was a bit hard in the beginning to get airborne and not getting stuck in houses and such.
but it was really fun! i can really recomend it to you people who are playing around the world.
....
sooon the new Q.O.T.S.A. (Queens Of The Stone Age) album will be out! i found a leaked copy and i have been listening to it for a while and it sounds good!
not as good as the "Rated R" album (witch is almost a masterpiece in my ears), but it´s good!
well now it´s time for lunch...

"Seven nation army"
yippie kay yay!
as i wrote yesterday aboot my graphics card, the fan on it was broken and i had to find a way to fix it.
i went to a computer store where i usually buy my PC stuff and bought the Zalman ZM80-HP thingy (see previous blog about link to it).
i came home and begun to replace the fan...
what i didn´t know was that i needed acetone or alchohol to remove the cooling pasta (or what´s it called)...did i have any acetone or alchohol at home?? nope, well i have alcohol but not the kind i can use for that purpose ;-P
anyway, i went out to get some, and after a while i found it at my usual grocery store.
came home and started with mounting the pieces and all that.
Zalman are gonna have a big applause for their good manual on how to mount this thing. it was really good!
but one thing was really bad...the cooling pasta tubes where to small and it seemed that 50% of the tube contained air.
finally after like 2 hours of mounting i was finished with it all.
i put it in and booted up the PC and tried to play a movie & play some games, and it all worked fine.
now i feel ready to onto more difficult thingys :-D
....
otherwise not much has happened...except that my winter jacket broke down so i have to buy a new one...*sigh*
and i got to know that my girrlfriend will be coming here in a couple of months (yaaah hoooh!!).

damit!! my luck seems very far right now...
i was at my brother this weekend (that´s why i haven´t written anything lately), and i came home yesterday (sunday) and i was as usual.
my cat was hungry, the apartment was a mess...
so i gave the cat some food and cleaned up a bit of the mess and turned on the PC.
i started up some downloads and was heading for the shower...
but before i went in there i wanted to take a last look at my programs to see if it started to download or not, and i couldn´t get the screen to work at all(!!!).
i unplugged the screen from the PC and put it back in again, but nothing worked.
i tried a couple of other things but nothing worked at all, so the only thing left to do was to reboot the PC.
the PC booted up again and i got my program to work after a little while and could head for the shower...
....
i saw that "Panic Room" was to be aired on the telly. i haven´t seen it before and i felt that i didn´t wanna sit infront of the PC the whole night.
...i loaded up with beverage, chips & candy...and the movie started, and by the first commercial break (after about 15-20 mins.) i was bored so i thought that i could watch a movie i had on my harddrive instead.
i fixed up everything and started the movie...and that´s where everything started to go really really bad...
(i have hooked up my PC to my TV so i can stream movies from my PC on my TV, it´s really good to have like that, and it works really good for me.)
anyway, the picture was really really bad, it was messed up (i had checked the quality of the movie earlier so i knew it was good).
i was kinda irritaded since my PC had been messing with me earlier this day, and i didn´t feel like "fighting" with the PC, i just wanted to sit down and watch a movie.
i opened the PC casing and took a look at the grapichs card and noticed that the fan didn´t spin at all(!!)
i took out the card and decided that i´m gonna go to a store and see what they can do.
i have seen a grapichs card cooler made by Zalman (ZM80-HP) that seems kinda intresting...
i´ll see what happens...i just hope it won´t be too expensive...

"lucky star"..or??
last night i was working on the webblog. i was trying to put up a counter some other things.
the counter had been there since the start but the other thing (some kind of traffic upgrade thingy) i just found, but apparently i just didn´t want to work correctly.
if i put in the counter the traffic thingy just didn´t want to stay there. if finally figured it out how to get both of them there and updated the webblog...
...and something strange happened...
i use to 99.99% the Firefox webbrowser nowadays. i think it´s much much better than the Explorer. only thing i have problems with is Quicktime, but i very rarely use it so i don´t care that much.
anyway, when i had updated my webblog and checked it out it looked very very strange to me. the background was now "split up", it was black "stripes"(!!).
something was very wrong...maybe it was the javascript code...so i tried to take it away and updated the webblog again. it looked fine in the preview and so updated again and hoped it would work out.
it didn´t(!!)...what to do, what to do...
i tried several time of cutting away the javascript and updating again, but no, i didn´t work at all.
and i got tired of all the crap and thought that i can always paste in the template again. a little window appeared that said something like "all your changes will be lost...".
i thought that it was just the changes i made, like if i wanted people to be able to post comments and e-mail my blogs to other people.
i pressed the ok button and...
...apparently i was very very wrong.
all i had written in my blog so far was gone(!!!)
the time was around 23.30 (i think) and i was tired, i had to get up at 06.00 next morning so felt i didn´t have time to fix it.
i checked around the settings and found out after a while that my old blog was still there.
Blogger.Com had made a backup of my old blog (*puh*)...lucky me.
now i finally could go to sleep.
....
next morning the alarm rang at 06.00, but i didn´t manage to get up before 06.30.
while i was eating i checked the temperature outside and froze still...
the meeter said:
-13.8 Celsius(!!!)
i´ve been living in Gothenburg for over 5 years and this is by far the coldest i´ve seen!
really tired i managed to get some breakfast and left the house at 07.30 (yeah, it was a bit late).
when i got to the tram station i found out that there was a stop because a tram had some problems (not a big surprise though). so i thought that i had to wait for like 5-10 mins. or so...
yeah riiight...i waited for surely 15 freezing mins. before a tram came...and that one was filled with people so i couldn´t get in.
and i waited for about 10 more mins. before the next tram came, i crammed my way in there and was finally on my way to my work.

when i got to the tram station i found out that there was a stop because a tram had some problems (not a big surprise though). so i thought that i had to wait for like 5-10 mins. or so...
yeah riiight...i waited for surely 15 freezing mins. before a tram came...and that one was filled with people so i couldn´t get in.
and i waited for about 10 more mins. before the next tram came, i crammed my way in there and was finally on my way to my work.

"...since i don´t have you..."
and all of a sudden it´s Wednesday (!!), woke up this morning and was thinking what day it was...was it Tuesday or Wednesday...??
i slowly came to mind it was Wednesday..."damn" i thought, "these two days has gone fast!".
even though yesterday (Tuesday) was a bad day at work, only idiots called and bitched about all sort of things it went by fast (luckily).
one example:
often travel agencys call us to reservate cars for other people, or companies, like American Express, call us to book cars for "fine" people with platinum cards...
anyway onto the example, this call a co-worker got yesterday.
this woman calls from a company and wants to reservate a car for a guy. she says that they have made a deal with our company and in their deal they are gonna have a certain type of car.
no problem som far.
but my co-worker sees that the car isn´t available at that time. then the woman on the aother side gets mad and says that "We have a agreement with you to have that car, what do you mean you don´t have it!!)".
and my co-worker tries to explain over and over again (but some people are just do stupid to understand).
all of a sudden she woman gets silent and my co-worker hears a dialing tone(!!!).
and a guy answers the phone (she had put a call through to the guy that was gonna have the car without saying anything to my co-worker!!!).
my co-worker understands that the guy in the phone is the person that is the one that´s gonna have the car and explains the situation to him.
he understands what she means (he´s not that stupid...)...but...
he later says that can´t you enter this car group and write on the booking that i want this type of car (the car that is on the agreement).
note: we CAN´T DO THAT, so stupid question!! you can´t book like a Chevrolet Classic and demand that we write that you want a Buick Le Sabre. the cars are in two different groups!
and my co-worker says so to this guy, and now all of a sudden he gets mad at her, and telling her that she can´t do her job right (!!!).
i don´t remember how it all ended but the moral of the story is:
how stupid can you be?? apparently very stupid!
just because you, or your company makes an agreement with us dosen´t mean that we have the specified car available 24/7 for you!!

i can give more examples like these, but nah not right now cause i´m going to lunch here!

yesterday i met the admin from Swedish Meatballs, in town. i wrote earlier about that i was gonna get both Call Of Duty and the expansion pack United Offensive for some cheap pix.
i came home and after some problems after installation i got online to the Swedish Meatballs server...
we sat online and talked with each other at the same time we where speaking, it was really cool!
we use a program called Teamspeak. it works like that you set up a channel (don´t ask me how, haven´t looked into it), and maybe a password if you want.
then you ask your mates that you want to talk to to download this program and give them the ip adress to the channel and the password if you have that.
you need a microphone to use this program, it´s better if it´s a headset with a mic. that has a "voice activation" in it, but it´s not neccecary since you can fiddle with the sound so ot will be more or less sensitive when you talk.
....
anyway, so there we sat and chatted and gamed the night away, and i had plans to see a movie.
but it was fun, and i´m looking forward to talk and game with them again.
....
a person close to me asked me a couple of days ago that i would take this webblog into a more personal direction. but i´m not sure where i want to take this webblog to, if i wanna get really personal or not...
hang on and we´ll see where we end up ;-P

got a mail from a swedish rock band called P-Floyd, they play covers by Pink Floyd. got to see them a couple of years ago when i went to Stockholm to see Roger Waters live in Globen and i can tell you that P-Floyd are amazing.
anyway, they are gonna put up The Wall in Stockholm in may and i got a offer to buy tickets cheaper than other people that aren´t on their mailing list.
need to check with hotels and stuff, cause this is a offer i really don´t wanna miss out on.
i´ll return when i have checked into this...

"...i don´t like mondays..." - but who does?
as the title say i don´t like mondays...well not this monday at least. last night i thought that i would start out at at least 09.00 but my luck as always i start out at 07.45.
oh well...
so i came to work at around 07.55, at 08.00 the phone switchboard didn´t work (oh, what a surprise!).
and middle of a booking my system logs me out (oh, what a surprise to me!) and when i manage to log in again all my windows has disappeard.
but one good thing about mondays is that C.S.I. is on the telly (yay!).
this weekend i met one of the administrators from the CoD clan i joined earlier, and he said he could sell me Call Of Duty and the expansion pack United Offensive way cheaper than in the stores (yay again!).
finally i´ll be able to log onto the clan server i joined.

woke up around 09.00, got me some breakfast and went down to town. saw a cheap keyboard that i was gonna check out and the same store had some cheap DVD-R´s that i planned to buy as well.
the keyboard they had (witch is really good), but the DVD-R´s was sold out (surprise, surprise)...so i went home to take care of the laundry...and maybe play a bit of CoD.
damn, i think i´m beginning to be a CoD fan...he he.
i don´t know why but i started to look on a forum i haven´t been to for a long time.
after a little while i found a thread about "Warez", and i thought that the warez scene wasn´t that alive...at least not by downloading from sites Warez scene.
but i continued to read and i found some intresting links and i stumbled upon some GMail (Google Mail) accounts(!!). and if you know what GMail is you know you can´t just apply for it, you need an invitation.
so i was pretty lucky to get myself a couple. don´t know if i need them though.
after too may hours infront of the computer i sat down to see the new movie "Saw". it was kinda intresting, but nothing i would buy on DVD.
a rating from 1 to 5 (where 1 is worst and 5 is the best) i would give it 3
...have no idea what to do tommorrow...or today, depends on how you see it.

i missed out to post a message on friday...it was all because the system at work was pretty much f****d up all day.
so i post it today (saturday) instead...
i started out at 09.00 in the morning, got to my work, nothing new there.
turned on my PC and logged into the programs and all, nothing new there either.
but the first call i got at friday morning wasn´t the easiest reservation i had. i had to find the nearest rental station in Australia (and since i´m sitting in Sweden and never been to Australia it was kinda hard).
so, i started out with taking getting the adress to where this person was gonna leave the car. so far pretty easy. all i now had to do was to find the nearest station to that place...not so easy at all.
i found a site (Maporama.Com) in witch i could write in the adress to where i was and where i wanted to go.
"This is gonna be easy!", i thought...no way it showed up to be. cause the site couldn´t find my adress to where i was starting out!
after a while the system logged me out, and i thought "What the f**k!", and tried to log in again...but no...wouldn´t work at all. so i rebooted the PC and could log in...but now all my progress was deleted(!!!)
so i had to start over again.
maporama.com again and the site couldn´t once again find where i was starting out, and of course i couldn´t at all rememember how i did it the first time.
and all of a sudden the system logges me out. again(!!!)
as you all can understand this was really irritating me. but nothing to do but to try to log on again.
nope, didn´t work at all.
reboot.

try to log in. yes! but the strange thing about this start up was that all the windows that i had up the first time (before my PC broke down) came back as nothing had happened!??! (wtf.?)
the time was now around 11.30 (!!!)
about 2 and ½ hours it took me to get back properly online again(!!)
but i eventually found out the closest adress and could make the reservation.
*puh*
but ca. 1 to 2 hours after i had lunch the system went down again(!!), but this time not only for me, but for everyone at the office. we couldn´t receive any calls at all, some of us couldn´t even use the internet.
so not much to do there than just sit and...well, do nothing i guess...
after about another hour the system came back online.
and finally at 17.00 the day ended for me.
when i got home i was in a mood for a movie, but the movie that i wanted to see wasn´t finished, so what to do but to play some more CoD.
this time it didn´t went that bad...
i tried to join a new server but there was some problems that i have to work out a bit. will be able to join the server next week i think.
talked to one of my friends about going out on saturday...

A day early and a dollar extra
got to bed really late yesterday because of that damn CoD (Call Of Duty).
when i have to get up at 06.00, around 00.00 at night is really late for me...
the alarm clock started to ring at 06.00 and as usual i snoozed it, damn the man that invented the snooze button. i got late so many time because of that wonderful thing. *S*
anyway, so i snoozed it.
06.30: i snoozed it again (yeah i know i should have gone up)
06.50: i finally got up (!!)
i usually get up at like 06.20, then i have some time to eat breakfast and take it easy before i start work at 08.00.
i really thought that i would be late for work today, but i was lucky (for once) and was about 5 mins. late and our boss wasn´t here this morning (yay!!).
and another day started at work...and here i am now.
orginially i was to start at 10.00 this morning, but i co-worker of mine needed to go to the doctor and she asked me if i could change. and nice as i am i say yes. i thought that i could get home earlier and play some CoD.
but damn my mind is playing tricks on me...i totally forgot that we are gonna have a meeting today at 18.00(!!) *sigh*
so now i end an 16.00 and need to stay in town for another extra 2 hours. and the add to "horror" is that the meeting won´t end until like 20.00...*sigh again*

CoD
i´ve played some CoD (that´s Call Of Duty) online today...my ass got kicked (or shot) so many times...it was almost embarrassing!
-"damn, i suck", i thought like a million times, i thought that i should give it up. maybe eat something.
but did i give up? no way! not yet at least...
with a computerized enemy you can sometimes see a pattern, or learn their ways of moving. but with a real person behind the wheel it´s sometimes way much harder.
yesterday when i was playing it went kinda good...but today...i don´t even wanna think about it...
ok, sure i can always blame that it´s so cold in my apartment (it really is!! i don´t know what the hell is wrong with the radiators!), or that haven´t eaten anything since i got home...but when it all comes down it´s just me that suck...or??
NO WAY!! it´s not me that suck it´s the goddamn gravity...ha ha ha...yeah bad joke...
i´m not gonna give it up just yet, but for today i do think so.

It´s from a name of a song that is on the Ghost In The Shell 2nd GIG OST that was made by Kokaku Kidotai.
Ghost In The Shell is a japanese animé movie, that later spread out to be a series too. If you´re into animé and manga you´ll what i´m talking about.
If not, you should check out the Ghost in the shell movie.
I stumbled upon the soundtrack and the track "I can´t be cool" caught my eye. The girl, Ilaria Graziano, sings in italian but thanks to a web page i found a translation (maybe not totally correct, but what do i know). If you want to see the lyrics or just info on the cd the link is posted at the end of this entry.
So that´s the story behind the name for my first blog.
The story behind my nick name, Kah-loolie, is that i have a cat, Kalleh, and when my girlfriend came to visit me she called him "little kah-loolie kathan" (it sounded like that when she said it, but don´t know if i spelled it right, gotta check with her).
So when it came to choose a nick name for the webblog i couldn´t choose my usual nick, mog. So i thought for a while what to choose...and i came up with that.
I´m gonna try to re-design this blog a bit when i have decided how i want it, but for now i´m gonna stick with the templates from this site, with a bit of modification.

Daydreaming
I was sitting here at my work and was daydreaming...hrm, i mean i was working hard ;-)...anyway. I was thinking about useful things i want to see for the PSP (Playstation Portable) and the Nintendo DS.
I don´t have any of the machines, they haven´t even been released in Europe yet, but that dosen´t stop me.
Anyway, the things i thought of was:
1. Making the PSP/NDS into a remote controller for your TV/DVD/Stereo/and other stuff.
That would be kinda cool, wouldn´t it?
2. Emulators. I am currently more interested in buying PSP than the NDS, so therefore i really want to see a Super Nintendo (Snes) and a PSX (Playstation One) emulator for the PSP.
My all time favorite console is the Snes, i find myself from time to time playing through some of my favorite games. Some of my favorites are (in no special order):
* Super Metroid
* Final Fantasy 3
* Chrono Trigger
* Cybernator
* Goof Troop
* Super Star Wars
* The Legend Of Zelda: Links Awakening
3. Another cool feature would be a tv guide. Especially for the NDS, since it has double screens and one is pressure sensitive. Picture the image that you have a NDS in your hands. On the above screen is a tv guide and on the lover screen you have a remote controller for your tv. You would be able to switch the tv controller screen so you could get the tv guide there instead.
4. Built in harddrive. This idea is for the PSP, but Sony has released the PSP in Japan and it didn´t have a built in harddrive. Instead you have to buy their expensive memorycards. A person on a forum i´m visiting and writing in a lot, has bought the PSP and 1.5 GB memory card, he had to pay 1500:- (Swedish krona) for that card (!!). That´s way too expensive as i see it...of course the prices will change, but still if feels unnecessary to pay for a little thing that Sony could have put in their machine for a low cost.
I don´t have any of the machines, they haven´t even been released in Europe yet, but that dosen´t stop me.
Anyway, the things i thought of was:
1. Making the PSP/NDS into a remote controller for your TV/DVD/Stereo/and other stuff.
That would be kinda cool, wouldn´t it?
2. Emulators. I am currently more interested in buying PSP than the NDS, so therefore i really want to see a Super Nintendo (Snes) and a PSX (Playstation One) emulator for the PSP.
